Hi Mary,

Thank you for your interest in starting a diaper service. We would recommend you purchase a copy of the How To Start A Diaper Service Kit. It was put together collectively by the diaper service membership of the Real Diaper Industry Association and provides information that has the potential of saving you thousands of dollars by helping you avoid costly start up errors. Also, we suggest you bookmark the RDIA's diaper service website and the RDIA main site and refer back to them from time to time. There is lots going on in the association and this is the place you will be kept up to date.

If you determine that starting a diaper service is something you are going to pursue, we will look forward to your involvement as a member of the RDIA including being assigned to a small team and having the opportunity for involvement in various committees based upon your expertise. Collectively we can make an impact and help influence the use of cloth (real) diapering.

Hi Dee Dee,

Our bylaws state that a member must be 'in business' to join, meaning you have your business license, Tax ID, business email/phone/contact info, but there is no profit/revenue requirement to join. Once your business is ready (meets the above criteria) then you can join at the >50,000 level to start, and revise as necessary at a future date.

I am interested in starting a Diaper Service and would like to get a membership, since I am unsure of what my annual profits would be at this time, should I join at the >50,000 level?
